For those who went for the River Hong Bao 2019, the fireworks must be the main draw.
It was for me. I went for two nights – a three-minute firework on Thursday 7 February and the 10-minute spectacle on Saturday 8 February. I had expected the Saturday one to be packed with people. I was thinking, would there be a blockage because of too many people? Luckily, there was no blockage on the way to the event and I was able to reach Esplanade.
As I have already visited the exhibition on Thursday, going into the venue was not the reason why I went again on Saturday, so I stayed near the Esplanade Outdoor Stage to look at the perform while waiting for the fireworks display at 10 pm.
